Stamina Popcorn Party
Dear Monster Families,
Today we had a popcorn party because we reached our reading goal. Our reading goal was 20 minutes of stamina. Stamina is staying focused and concentrated on your reading for a period of time. Stamina means not taking your eyes off the book and reading the whole time!
We are wishing luck to everyone running in the cross country meet today at Isbister Park.
Monsters love reading!
P.s. Stay tuned for our classroom monster belief statement that were working on.
Thanks
Love,
The Room 14 Monsters

I am Canadian
Dear Families,
We have been working on this project called I am Canadian.
We made these faces made out of paper plates, construction paper and paint.
We wrote about how we are proud of being Canadian. We also described
our rights and responsibilities.
We are Canadian!
We hope you enjoy the pictures!
Love,
The Monsters

We have been having an amazing first full week of school! I am so proud of how each and every student has started off the year and adjusted to our routines.
Today we worked on learning our French Alphabet. We used puppets to introduce ourselves, spell our name and tell a friend how old we are.
I've also included a few other snapshots of the week! We got soooo much done! I'm so proud of how hard everyone is working!
Have a great weekend!
Ms. Nevieri :) xoxo
